Lauren Hellekson is a published author, paranormal researcher, equipment developer, and experiential educator whose work lives at the intersection of the technical and the supernatural. With a lifelong passion for exploring both the unseen and the mechanical, Lauren brings a rare blend of scientific curiosity, creative engineering, and esoteric inquiry to everything she does.

Her fieldwork has taken her across the globe—from ancient ritual sites in India, Israel, and Ireland to haunted American landmarks—where she investigates the relationship between consciousness, environment, and unexplained phenomena. A builder at heart, Lauren has been reverse-engineering machines since childhood (starting with vintage IBM computers and motorcycle engines) and now applies that drive to developing custom-designed paranormal equipment inspired by Victorian occult aesthetics and modern energy theory.

In addition to leading workshops and lectures on supernatural investigation and DIY tech, Lauren recently launched a public installation called The Resonance Chamber at Ohio’s Madison Seminary—an immersive research environment designed to study how states of consciousness may influence or correlate with paranormal experiences.

Through her work, Lauren invites others to question the boundaries between science, spirit, and personal reality—always asking: "How do you know it works, if you don't know how it works?"
